Last month saw us host the first Plenty Literary Gala, a Three Musketeers-themed masquerade ball that served to raise money for and awareness of Plenty's goals of improving literacy and book culture here in the Upper Cumberland.
The night was amazing. There was a dance performance and dancing, silent and live auctions, and delicious food. Not to mention, there were plenty of masks. We raised funds to support fifteen new Little Book Libraries — more on those soon — along with providing books for every first grader who completes the Highlands Economic Partnership's "Oh the Places You Can Work" coloring book initiative, while also raising funds to support dozens of local nonprofits with books relevant to their work and needs.
We'd love to extend our deepest gratitude to the following people, businesses, organizations, and more who made our night so magical!
